Brave is coming! We stumbled upon this sand sculpture-in-progress during our Epcot sojourn last month. I'm all for sassy heroines (perhaps because I am so NOT), and can't wait for the official release of this Pixar flick on Friday. You can preview the movie trailer here. (Warning: you may experience an unexplainable urge to take up archery.) Or how about entering the Brave Adventure in Scotland Sweepstakes for a chance to travel to Scotland with Adventures by Disney?? If you are in search of your own personal challenge, head to the Rose Walk area of Epcot between now and July 8th, 2012; experience the completed sand art plus Brave- The Highland Games Tournament. Archery and Haggis Flip? Now that's brave.

Oooo...great minds - I am doing a Brave post today too :-) We are all so excited about this movie. It just looks gorgeous. And I so want to go to Scotland. Or maybe I just want a hunky Scottish guy in a kilt to talk to me :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm loving all the beautiful red hair- it's no wonder that Scotland has resumed their tourism ads in the US this summer... Kilts!!
DeleteCan't wait to see this movie! With all the previews it seems we have had to wait a long time. It was fun playing the highland games at Epcot though.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear you experienced this in the flesh!!
DeleteI am also not sassy or a rule breaker but I'm still excited to see Brave! Perhaps I will dye and curl my hair for the occasion! LOL
ReplyDeleteHow about one of those amazing, red and curly wigs?!
DeleteHoping to see Brave in the next few days! Looks like it's going to be another good one!
ReplyDeleteI think it will be a home run Mark!
DeleteI'm not a particularly sassy or brave girl either but I really like the looks of this new princess and her story! Bring on the kilts and the highland games!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and for linking up to hop today!
Thanks Deb, I know I bypassed Mickey, but was too excited for the movie opening not to share!
DeleteI have an 8 year old that cannot wait to see this movie! We LOVE brave and sassy princesses!!
ReplyDeleteHooray for the new generation!!!
DeleteVery cool sand sculpture! My 3-year-old is a princess girl, so she's excited for a new princess movie, but even my 9-year-old son is excited about seeing the movie - he loves the archery part :) Can't wait to see it this weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, I bet your kids will love this one. I suddenly need to go to Scotland!
ReplyDeleteI've got a brave and sassy daughter who has red hair and tried archery for the first time last week. I'm not sure this is the ideal movie to take her to. Guess I'll have to go check it out on my own first.
ReplyDeleteHow can you not? (She might end up doing the stage version :D)
DeleteI'm so happy we can finally go to the theater again. We're heading out to see this one for sure!
ReplyDeleteLucinda- so true! A happy time with good music; sounds positively therapeutic!
ReplyDeleteI am planning on taking my wife to see Brave for her birthday...June 23!!! Trying to decide if we will take the kids or not. Oh well...it should be a great movie! Thanks for the post
ReplyDeleteShe's a lucky gal. (Maybe you'll go a second time with the kiddies :D)
DeleteCan't wait to see this movie, I love her red hair and the sassy too.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in a neighborhood full of redheads- very nostalgic!!
DeleteI love having Disney buddies that get in on the latest-and-greatest action more frequently than myself ... and share it via pictures!!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds unanimous - we are all ever so excited for this fun new movie! :)
Yes- and let's all enter that sweepstakes!!!!
